Yakeese Bars are made from an ancient recipe using a 6 step process and contain Yak and Cow milk, Salt and Lime juice and smoked to seal in the goodness !
 
Our Yaks and Cows graze at an altitude of 15,000 ft and above, munching on the freshest herbs and other medicinal plants in the Himalayas.
They are free to roam the mountains and provide an abundance of healthy milk.

Interesting Fact !
Primarily these were made for human consumption and to preserve the Yaks milk in the cold months by turning it into hard cheese the milk was preserved and made into a snack packed full of Calcium and Protein!, the local community from school kids to people climbing mountains would keep themselves hydrated by taking a small piece of the bar in their mouth which in turn releases saliva and helps with hydration, this is called “Churpi”.
This evolved into larger bars being made as it was discovered that local dogs found these to be a delicious delight and the Yakeese dog treats evolved.
